Police arrested a drug dealer named Shipon Islam Ripon (19) with 4 kg of ganja in Bogra. Members of the Bogra Armed Police Battalion detained the drug dealer in the Silimpur area of the Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Bogra district around 7 am on Tuesday.
The arrested Shipon Islam is the son of Abul Kashem of the Amlahar area of the Panchagarh district.

Bogra Armed Police Battalion Captain (Additional DIG) Syed Abu Sayem (BPM-Service) said that the arrested Shipan Islam had been buying and selling drugs in different parts of the country for a long time.
He was arrested on Tuesday morning in a tip-off operation. The arrested accused has been handed over to the court after filing a case at Bogra Sadar police station.
